We’ve had a productive week and have continued talking about ways to be more efficient, at home and at school. We’re all very excited about getting ready for Halloween!
Sunny, for the most part, has had a great week. She earned the little teacher job for the first time. This morning, when we were at the park for our PE class, she ran off from the group, fell over and skinned her knee. We spoke later about how important it is for us to stay together when we’re not on campus.
Lily had a good week except for Wednesday. She got into a bit of trouble for not following the rules three times. We have spoken about it.
Lauren has had another good week. We’re all very excited about Halloween. She has begun to take responsibility for the eye patches by herself. On Wednesday she put them on first thing both times. I’ll keep my eye on her but she’s making great progress.
I was happy to see Esther’s New Mexico shirt on Tuesday. I know she’s very happy that her father is home and I’m sorry that none of our letters got through. I put a return address on the one we sent via post. If it comes back, I will send it home with her.
Frank has been doing better. Thank you so much for making sure he arrives to school on time this week. It really is very important that he makes it here before 9. Thanks again.
Jerry has been doing good work and making good progress. I will work with him on being more attentive to his handwriting.
Evie does very good work in class. She seems very happy and has adjusted very well to our class but sometimes I think she might be more challenged at a higher level.
Tricia is a wonderful addition to our class and I’m happy to have her. She has adjusted very quickly and is doing good work.
Eliza is very bright and doing great work. Sometimes she has a little bit of trouble focusing but we’re working on it.
Carson is working very hard and making great progress. Big improvement here. Keep it up.
Henry is working hard when he focuses but he still need constant reminders to stay on task. I’d like to see him taking responsibility for his own work individually.
Samson is very bright and has serious concentration issues. We’re working on it, but he needs constant reminders to stay on task.
