Week 9

It’s been another productive week. We seem to be getting into a good routine. We read a fun story about Peter Pan yesterday. We’re learning more about the solar system in science class and the relation between the sun, the moon and the earth.

Evie has settled into the class very nicely. She seems much more comfortable in the classroom and is doing great work. She really is a very bright girl!

Eliza is a very hard worker. I sometimes have to remind her to stay on task in the classroom. We have been enjoying our smaller group during break time.

Samson is making good progress and is on track. He does need reminders to stay on task sometimes.

Carson has been doing good work. He has been better about the way he interacts with the other students and controlling his temper. He’s making great progress with his reading!

Henry is also making great progress with his reading. He does still need to settle down a bit in the classroom. He is very easily excitable.

Lily has been doing great work. We’re sorry to miss her these last two days and I hope you’re having fun in Kenting.

Sunny has been doing much much better again this week. I think we’re making some good progress.

Lauren has been very positive this week. We enjoyed reading the Peter Pan book in class yesterday and thank you for the Teacher’s Day Gift. That was very thoughtful.

Esther has had a good week academically but she is still whispering to her classmates at inappropriate times during class. I will continue to keep my eye on her.

Frank has been complaining about his stomach during lunch time. He often doesn’t want to finish his lunch. This is usually a bigger issue on days when he doesn’t like the vegetables of the day but I’d like to check with you to make sure this isn’t an actual problem.

Jerry has had another strong week. I’m glad to see his skin has cleared up. He is back on track.
